Nigerian politician and former governorship candidate in Lagos state, Babatunde Gbadamosi has stated that he will withdraw his support if the former governor of Anambra state and Labour Party, LP candidate in the 2023 presidential election, Peter Gregory Obi chooses the former governor of Kaduna state, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai as his running mate.

This statement was contained in a post that he shared on his official X handle on Sunday.

The former Lagos state governorship candidate made the statement after he came across a post pairing Peter Obi and Mallam Nasir El-Rufai ahead of the 2027 presidential election.

According to the post that Babatunde Gbadamosi made on his page, he said he prefers the Vice Presidential candidate of the Labour Party in the 2023 presidential election, Yusuf Datti Baba-Ahmed to the former governor of Kaduna state.

Here is what he wrote on his official X handle;

“If Peter Obi chooses El-Rufai as his VP over Datti Baba-Ahmed, I will not support him. I cannot support evil under any guise”.
