President Masoud Pezeshkian of Iran had urged Muslim nations to form a united front against external threats while boosting cooperation in science, industry, and agriculture, condemning the Israeli regime over its ongoing offensive military campaign in Gaza that resulted in the death of several innocent civilians.

According to a report by the Iran News Agency on Sunday 3 August, 2025, the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Masoud Pezeshian while speaking during a high-profile meeting with the former Prime Minister of Pakistan, Nawaz Sharif in Lahore, declared that Muslim countries must stand together to prevent further attacks, asserting that if the Islamic world unites, the Zionist regime would no longer be able to pick off nations one by one.

He also expressed deep gratitude for Pakistan’s support during the just-concluded war between Tehran and Tel Aviv that resulted in the death of several innocent civilians, highlighting the need for regional alliances to counter foreign pressure.

In his words, President Masoud Pezeshian said “If Muslims around the world stand united, the Zionist regime will no longer be able to target independent nations individually.”

On the other hand, the former Prime Minister of Pakistan, Nawaz Sharif, commended the resilience of the Government of the Islamic Republic of Iran under the leadership of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei against Israeli aggression, stressing that the Iranian people did not just defend their land, they showed the world a new, fearless Iran.
