‎‎Former Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, has made a strong promise to Nigerians about his plans if elected President in 2027, as reported by Daily Post on Saturday, 9 August, 2025.

‎During a recent online discussion, Amaechi said he will change Nigeria’s constitution from focusing on indigeneship to citizenship.

‎This change means that all Nigerians, no matter where they come from, will have equal rights and recognition.

‎Amaechi believes this will help unite the country and promote fairness.

‎He also made a bold pledge to end corruption within one month of becoming President.

‎He said if he fails to achieve these two major goals changing the constitution and stopping corruption he will resign from office.

‎“If I become President I will change the constitution from indigeneship to citizenship.

‎If I do not end corruption in Nigeria, change the constitution within one month as president, I will tender my resignation,” he said.
