The former governor of Anambra state and Labour Party, LP candidate in the 2023 presidential election, Peter Obi has stated that nobody cares about how things are done in Nigeria and some African countries as long as the leaders have money to share.
He made the statement in a documentary that was posted on the official X handle of WHY NOT AFRIKA on Friday.
The former governor of Anambra state was speaking about the level of corruption in Nigeria and Africa when he made the comment.
He said for instance, if he is a public office holder, he can lie about his age, background, education and other things and people will still not care as long as he has enough money to share.
Peter Obi said in the viral video from 6.23;
“If I am a public officer, I can lie about my age, background, education and everything because nobody cares. Nobody cares here as long as I have money to share”.
