Igwe Patrick Eze, popularly known as Igwe Waziri, who is a renowned businessman and the traditional ruler of Egali Amalla in Udenu Local Council of Enugu State as well as a Patron of Ohanaeze Ndigbo, spoke in an interview with The Sun correspondent about the situation in Enugu State and the 2027 general election.

He also assessed Governor Peter Mbah’s performance and shared his thoughts on the hope for an Igbo presidency in 2027.

When he was asked about the 2027 general election and the impression that he seemed to have automatically endorsed Governor Mbah for a second term, and further questioned about the possibility of an Igbo president, which some people consider long overdue, he explained that he had always maintained that power belongs to God and that it is God who gives power to whomever He chooses.

He added that if God decided to choose Peter Obi to become the President of Nigeria in 2027, then nobody would be able to stop him. According to him, the fate of Obi’s presidential ambition rests entirely in the hands of God.

He said, “I’ve always maintained that power belongs to God, and God gives power to whosoever He chooses.

“If God decides to choose Peter Obi to become the President of Nigeria in 2027, I’m sure that nobody can stop him.
