A heated argument has erupted on X between a user, @Caulcrick, and Arc Uche Rochas, a prominent chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Shortly after the death of former President Muhammadu Buhari, @Caulcrick called on the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) to arrest Abubakar Malami, former Attorney-General of the Federation, and Rotimi Amaechi, former Minister of Transportation.
In his post, @Caulcrick wrote: “EFCC can conveniently pick Malami and Amaechi up without a ripple effect. They can form a new coalition in Kuje prison.”
However, he did not explain why he believes the EFCC should arrest the two former top officials of Buhari’s administration.
Responding to the post, Rochas warned against such moves. He replied: “If the EFCC goes after Malami, Amaechi, or any CPC member of the coalition, Nigeria will never be the same again.”
