A video that was published on the official X account of ARISE NEWS has captured the moment a chieftain of the Labour Party, LP, and former vice presidential candidate, Yusuf Datti Baba-Ahmed was speaking about how powerful a protest can be.
He made the statement while speaking about how the senator representing Kogi Central, Natasha Akpoti was treated when she visited the National Assembly to effect her resumption.
Yusuf Datti Baba-Ahmed stated that it is only when a few people protest that the police can arrest or use teargas on them. The former vice presidential candidate said when a million people come together, the President will be flown in a helicopter out of the Villa.
He said one of the major reasons why people can not come together and speak with one voice is ethnicity and religion.
Yusuf Datti Baba-Ahmed said Nigerians need to clean out religion and ethnicity for democracy.
According to ARISE NEWS;
“If a million people were to protest in Abuja, a helicopter will fly tinubu out of the villa and that is the end”.
