Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz has issued a clear warning to Hezbollah, advising the group to stay out of the escalating conflict between Iran and Israel. Katz believes that Hezbollah has failed to learn from past confrontations and risks severe consequences if it decides to engage in violence, according to report from The Times of Israel on Friday June 20 2025.

Katz stated that Hezbollah should be careful and realize that if there is terrorism, the group might not survive the response from Israel.

Katz said, “The Lebanese proxy should be careful and understand that if there is terror there will be no Hezbollah.”

Katz’s comments come after Hezbollah leader Sheikh Naim Qassem said that the group would not stay neutral while Israel and the U.S. act aggressively. Qassem also showed support for Iran’s right to defend itself against attacks.

This back-and-forth between Israeli officials and Hezbollah leaders highlights the growing tensions in the Middle East. The situation is precarious, and many are watching closely to see how things develop in the near future.
