Several Iranian soldiers were killed while trying to fix ballistic missile launch and storage sites after Israeli military drones attacked Iranian military personnel and engineering equipment, as reported by The Times of Israel.

An official statement from the Israel Defence Forces (IDF) said that monitoring activities had uncovered many attempts by the Iranian government to repair critical ballistic missile equipment that had been hit during previous Israeli strikes. “Destroying engineering equipment and eliminating dozens of soldiers of the Iranian military operating in the area,” the Israeli Defence Forces reported after an airstrike.

The military emphasised that the action was targeted at stopping Iran from re-establishing strategic offensive capabilities that could be used to harm Israel, but they did not detail the exact locations of the strikes or the number of soldiers killed.
