Rotimi Amaechi, a former governor of Rivers State, has recounted his experience with the former governor of Lagos State, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, who is now president of Nigeria.
In recent times, the Bola Ahmed Tinubu administration has received widespread criticisms from prominent politicians, including Nasir El-Rufai, a former governor of Kaduna state; Rotimi Amaechi, a former minister of transportation; Peter Obi, a former governor of Anambra state; and others.
However, in the video, the former governor, Rotimi Amaechi, despite his criticisms against the Tinubu-led government, has acknowledged the president’s political influence.

He recounted how he had visited President Tinubu’s home, alongside the former governor of Kaduna State, Nasir El-Rufai, and knelt before him, pleading for his support in the 2015 election.
