Segun Sowunmi, a member of the PDP and former spokesperson for Atiku Abubakar’s presidential campaign, has spoken about his efforts to address the internal conflicts within the party.

In a video shared by TVC from 35:58, Sowunmi said that he literally laid on the ground and held former Governor Ayo Fayose’s feet to beg him to make peace with the PDP and Atiku. He said his loyalty to Atiku does not stop him from apologizing when it is needed

Sowunmi also emphasized that when individuals are hurt, it is important to acknowledge their feelings and not dismiss them.

In Sowunmi’s words: “I went to Ayo Fayose, I laid on the ground and held his feet to beg him. Because I understand that nobody has a right to tell another person not to be hurt and when people are hurt, you can’t make light of their hurt”
