A viral video that was posted on the official X account of NEWS CENTRAL TV has captured the moment a retired police officer, SP Wilson was lamenting the amount of money he was called to come and receive after his retirement.
This came after some retired police officers gathered at the police headquarters in Abuja to protest and demand the payment of their pension and other benefits.
According to the video that surfaced online, the retired police officer said his colleagues in other agencies are smiling home with N30 million while he is being offered N3 million.
He however, called on President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to intervene in the matter. He said he’s not happy with the way policemen are being treated in Nigeria.
According to NEWS CENTRAL TV;
“I was called to be given 3 million naira when my other colleagues are going home with 30 million. I have never seen any country that their police are being treated the way.
