Aliyu Audi, a former senior special assistant to the president and the convener of the APC Rebirth Movement, has revealed why he is now working against the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. During an interview with Arise Television from 10:03, Audi explained that he is doing this because he believes Nigeria needs a better future, and he wants to fight for it.

According to him, he has been a loyal member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and even played a role in helping Tinubu become president. He said, “What I do with my party membership is not up to him. I started this journey, and part of what I was doing led to his emergence.”

Audi shared how he refused to stay silent when things at the party started going wrong. He said he had been invited to several meetings on Arise TV in the past, raising concerns about the direction of the party.

He revealed that he was once promised a piece of land as a reward for his support, but it was later taken from him because he refused to change his stance or stop speaking the truth. “I was a member of the committee, I was promised a land, but it was taken because I refused to change my position,” he said.

Despite this, Audi said he left a well-paying job to fight for what he believes in. “It’s nothing new,” he said. “We can all be intentional about building a better Nigeria. Let’s face our challenges and fix them together.”
