Veteran Nollywood actress Joke Muyiwa has revealed why she wanted to abort her baby when she got pregnant, while also stating why she later decided to keep the pregnancy, which happened to be her only child.

In a video that was posted on the official YouTube channel of Biola Adebayo Ent during an interview with Biola Adebayo from 32:57 to 38:14, she made it known that she wanted to abort the pregnancy of her only because she got pregnant for a stranger.

In her statement, she said, “One day, I was standing on the road when a man packed his car in front of me and offered me a ride, which I accepted.

“His car got faulty along the way and I was really scared because I didn’t know him anywhere before.

“When we got to Ibadan, I went to the church and a prophetess told me that I will have a baby but that I may not like the father because he is a stranger.

“I allowed him to sleep with me, and I got pregnant because I was getting old and I needed to get married.

“I wanted to abort the pregnancy of my only child because I got pregnant for a stranger.

“When I told him about the pregnancy, he was happy, and he pleaded to me not to abort the pregnancy, but I already made up my mind to see a doctor who will abort the pregnancy for me.
