In a recent interview on Symfoni TV from 22:35, Oladimeji Fabiyi, a prominent political strategist and former PDP official, praised a group of influential Nigerian leaders for their decision to join forces in what he described as a refreshing political realignment aimed at strengthening the country’s democracy.
During the interview, Fabiyi declared, “I want to thank David Mark, Aregbesola, Obi, Tambuwal, and all who have come together to form ADC.” He said these individuals represent a coalition of experience, integrity, and national commitment, adding that their collaboration signals a new direction for Nigeria’s political future.
Fabiyi explained that the emergence of the ADC reflects growing public frustration with the internal crises, power tussles, and unending factional battles that have weakened major political parties. He argued that many Nigerians are yearning for a platform built on accountability, discipline, and genuine service rather than personal ambition. According to him, bringing together figures like former Senate President David Mark, former Osun State Governor Rauf Aregbesola, former Anambra State Governor Peter Obi, and former Speaker Aminu Tambuwal shows a readiness to rebuild trust in the political system.
He further noted that this development should serve as a wake-up call to older parties that have drifted from their founding principles. Fabiyi stressed that Nigerians will no longer tolerate politics defined by betrayal, inconsistent ideology, and leadership failures. Instead, he said the country needs a coalition capable of offering stability and a clear national direction.
He concluded that if these leaders remain focused on transparency, unity, and the collective interest, the formation of ADC could become a turning point in Nigerian politics, offering citizens a more credible and dependable alternative. View, More,
