Former Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Rivers State, Felix Obuah, has expressed strong confidence that the party will win all positions in the upcoming local government elections scheduled for August 30, 2025.
In a video shared by SYMFONI TV, speaking during a PDP rally in the state, Obuah said Rivers State has always been a PDP stronghold and will remain so. He pointed out that over 40,000 party supporters had gathered at the event, which he described as proof that no other political party can challenge PDP’s dominance in the state.
According to him, PDP will win all 319 councillor seats across the state. Obuah stated very clearly that they have never lost any seat to any party. Their leader is deeply committed to ensuring PDP remains on top.
He further assured party members that the PDP will also win all 23 local government chairmanship positions. “I want to assure you that our leader, Chief Barrister Nyesom Wike, has never lost any election. As such, PDP is going to win all 23 local governments come August 30,” he stated.
Obuah also praised the current PDP state chairman, Aaron Chukwuemeka, calling him a “workaholic” who is dedicated to the party’s success.
