During an interview with News Central TV from 9.34, Jake Epelle, a communication expert and public affairs analyst, shared his thoughts about a recent photo showing Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, alongside the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, and some elders of Rivers State.

Epelle was asked whether the peace in the state could be considered genuine, especially since some key figures like Deputy Governor Ngozi Odu and Edison Ehie were not present in the photo.

In his response, Epelle explained that pictures can tell more than words. “It’s not an impossible scenario. However, as a communication expert, I didn’t just look at the picture; I looked at the nonverbal communication, what it’s saying,” he noted.

Epelle also criticized the behavior of some politicians, saying many of them are not sincere. “That’s the nature of crooked politicians. They tell you one thing but mean another. Their hearts are not in sync with their lips,” he said.

He stressed that trust and honesty should guide politics. “Politics and the people are like husband and wife; there must be trust and transparency,” he added. See, More, Here>>>
