According to a report that was published on the official X account of Vanguard on Monday, Deputy Chief Whip, Senator Onyekachi Nwaebonyi has narrated what transpired between Kogi senator, Natasha Akpoti and Senate President, Godswill Akpabio.
According to report, the Deputy Chief Whip dismissed the allegations that Senator Natasha Akpoti made against the former governor of Akwa Ibom State saying that they are baseless.
Senator Onyekachi Nwaebonyi stated that it’s not true that Natasha Akpoti joined them in inspecting Akpabio’s building because when the inspection was about to commence, she complained about her shoes paining her.
The Deputy Chief Whip said he witnessed all that happened because he was in the same vehicle with Natasha Akpoti and her husband. He said the Kogi senator only came up with the claims because her seat was changed in the National Assembly.
According to Vanguard, the Deputy Chief Whip said;
“I remember very well, as we were coming down from the vehicle, she was complaining about her shoes paining her, and she and her husband had to stay back while I rushed inside to join other senators to inspect the building of the Senate President”.
