Malam Nasiru Ahmad El-Rufai, the former governor of Kaduna State, has announced his intention to return to politics in 2027 after he completes his studies. El-Rufai believes that there is no retirement in politics and is hopeful about continuing to serve the people.
According to Vanguard, He said, “I intend to return to politics in 2027 after completing my studies. There is no retirement in politics. By the will of Allah, we will return and continue serving the people .”
He also mentioned that he has been observing the current political situation quietly. “I always ask Allah to guide me in everything I do because I strive to avoid doing anything wrong or betraying people’s trust,” El-Rufai said.
He further shared that he recently prayed two Raka’at, leaving his future decisions to Allah’s judgment. “This is why I’m not saying much about the issue right now,” he added.
El-Rufai’s commitment to a political comeback reflects his ongoing dedication to public service and his belief in the importance of political involvement.
