Nigerian TikTok influencer Habeeb Hamzat, better known as Peller, has disclosed how much he makes from live streaming on the platform.
In an interview with Ebuka Obi-Uchendu on Channels TV, Peller shared details about his earnings, revealing that he makes thousands of dollars in a short period, depending on the type of content he creates.
He noted that his income is higher when he focuses on engaging his audience rather than directly asking for financial support.
Peller explained that during an average live session, he earns between $2,000 and $3,000 in just 30 minutes. However, his most profitable session happened during a competitive match with another TikToker, where he made an impressive $10,000.
In his words, “Whenever I don’t ask people for money on TikTok, I make more during my live stream period. So most times, when you see me talking on TikTok, I make between $2,000 to $3,000 in 30 minutes on average. The highest money I have made on TikTok live stream is about $10,000, which was when I engaged in a match with another TikToker,” he said.
Beyond social media, Peller also shared his early struggles before finding success online. He recalled working at a printing press at the age of 13 but often ran away from the job. He admitted that seeing older men still struggling financially made him rethink his future.
“Before I started carpentry, I worked at a printing press at the age of 13. But I used to run away from work because I usually see a 60-year-old man working as a vulcanizer, and I was always scared that my life might turn out the same way. Even my boss, who owned the printing press, was still living in a rented apartment,” he said.
