Daboikiabo Warmate, a member of the PDP, has reacted to a disclosure made by a retired major general, General Danjuma Ali-Keffi.
Speaking in an exclusive interview with Daily Trust TV from 4:17, Warmate said he was heartbroken when General Ali-Keffi revealed that he was punished after he successfully captured a key Boko Haram leader and some financiers of terrorism.
Warmate said General Keffi disclosed that he was forced into retirement and even detained after he caught the Boko Haram leader and terrorism financiers.
In Warmate’s words: “I listened to one of our retired major generals (General Danjuma Ali-Keffi, a former General Officer Commanding of the Army’s mechanised division) and he was making confession how he was able to capture one of the Boko Haram leaders, the real Boko Haram leader and also financiers of terrorism, but at the end he was punished. He was forced to retire and was detained. It is heartbreaking to hear such stories and follow up with this kind of deaths we just heard”
