In a message at a recent Workers Training Service, Pastor W.F. Kumuyi, General Superintendent of the Deeper Christian Life Ministry, shared a personal testimony that deeply resonated with his congregation.

In the sermon video, Recalling his humble beginnings, Pastor Kumuyi drew a parallel between his own life and the biblical story of Joseph.

“As I was preparing this message, all of a sudden, I remembered the village where I grew up, and the local primary school I attended. I was like a nobody, just like you now. You are like me; you are the nobody who will become somebody,” Pastor Kumuyi began.

He then revealed a poignant aspect of his youth, saying, “I had a dream, but I didn’t tell anybody like Joseph did because I didn’t think it would amount to anything.” Despite his modest background and the lack of resources, support, and opportunities, Pastor Kumuyi’s dream persisted, and he now sees its fulfillment.

Reflecting on his journey, he expressed awe and gratitude for God’s guidance and provision. “Now, I see that dream of a village boy being fulfilled. As I thought about that, I said if God could do this for a village boy and show him a great dream – because there was no money, no support, no helper, no lifter-up – yet God was with me.”

Pastor Kumuyi’s message was not just a reflection on his past but a powerful encouragement to his listeners. “I come to tell you here today, more than He did for Joseph, beyond what I see in my life, I come to deliver heaven’s message to you today, God will be with you.”….Seë_Morë
