Kelvin Obakpororo, who confessed to the killing of his lover, Excellence, after being arrested by the Delta police, has regretted his actions. The suspect who confessed to the crime said that he did not know his lover, Excellence, would die. He claimed that he was under the influence of drugs.
According to reports by the Punch News, Kelvin said, “I didn’t know she would die, and it wasn’t my clear eyes. I took 200 mg of tramadol. It’s a mistake. I’m so sorry. She had two sons: three- and two-year-old sons, for me.”
Kelvin said he took 200 mg of tramadol before he and his wife had an argument. He added that his actions were a mistake and he is sorry. It was also said that the suspect was into internet fraud.
The suspect, Kelvin, narrated how the killing happened. He said that whenever his wife came to his house, she would change her clothes and go out to see another man. He said that an argument ensued between them the day the incident happened. He noted that his wife took a knife, and he took a hammer. Kelvin said he used the hammer to hit his lover’s forehead three times, and then she fell and died.
