According to a post on Regina Daniels Instagram page on Sunday, November 9, 2025, popular Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has sparked controversy after releasing a four-page document in which she accused her estranged husband, businessman and politician Ned Nwoko, of lies, manipulation, and emotional abuse. In the document shared at midnight, Daniels confronted Nwoko, alleging that he fabricated claims about her drug use to tarnish her family’s image and divert attention from deeper issues in their relationship.
“Ned, how could you lie so openly and without even small remorse? You know my family has absolutely nothing to do with this,” she wrote. “You have always tried to cut them off because of the bond we share, and now you are trying to make them look bad for no reason.” Daniels admitted to using drugs in the past but denied it being the core problem between them. She accused Nwoko of exploiting the issue to gain public sympathy and isolate her from friends and family.
“You want to find a reason to arrest everyone around me so that I will have no one left beside me, no friend, no support, no safe place to turn to,” she stated, claiming the politician’s intention was to leave her “isolated and broken.” She further accused Nwoko of manipulation and control, alleging forced confinement, seizure of her phones, and coerced medical treatments. “You say you want me to go for rehab, but you are the same Ned who always wanted me high because, in your words, I’m ‘sexier’ when I’m high,” Daniels claimed.
