Popular Nigerian disk jockey and music producer DJ Jimmy Jatt has revealed some of the health challenges he has had in recent times that stopped him from showing up in the entertainment industry, while also stating what he did to overcome those health challenges.

In a video that was posted on the YouTube channel of Channels TV during an interview, he made it known that he had a kidney disease and that he lost his sight and he could not see anything with his eyes.

In his statement, he said, “In the year 2019, I said I wanted to spend more time out of Nigeria, but in the year 2020 I started having various health challenges, and there was restriction of movement in Nigeria, so I couldn’t travel abroad for treatment. I couldn’t see anything with my eyes when I lost my sight, and I also had kidney disease. I was diagnosed in America, and I was on dialysis, but eventually I came back to Nigeria to receive treatment, and after the kidney transplant, I had to take a break from the music industry.”
