Tanko Yinusa, the spokesperson to former governor of Anambra State and Labour Party presidential aspirant, Peter Obi recently disclosed the kind of politics played by his principal. According to his statements during a recent interview on ChannelsTv, he pointed out that the former governor was an issue-based politician who was not interested in abuses.
The former governor of Anambra State and Presidential aspirant of the Labour Party, Peter Obi had been at the receiving end of verbal confrontations from different quarters, however he had maintained his calmness. This was according to Tanko Yinusa, the spokesperson to the presidential aspirant who made the statements during a recent interview on ChannelsTv.
According to Tanko Yinusa, the former Anambra State governor’s kind of politics was way different from the conventional politics played by virtually all Nigerian politicians. He further pointed out that Peter Obi has never been seen abusing anyone, neither does he call names, but deals with the issue.
“Have you ever seen Mr. Peter would be abusing anybody? He doesn’t even call names. He deals with the issue. He’s an issue-based kind of politician.”
He also added that Peter Obi was different because he never engaged in anything violence, and his ability to connect with the Nigerian youths stood him out.
“And he never engaged anything about violence, and that’s what makes him different and distinct. He has been able to connect with the Nigerian youth who are in full demand. They are not requesting. They are demanding for good governance.” He added.
