One of the members of the Northern Elders Forum, NEF, and former Special Adviser to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Political Matters, Hakeem Baba-Ahmed has reacted to several claims that the current administration of the All Progressive Congress, APC is poaching life out of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP and other opposition parties in the country.
The statement of Hakeem Baba-Ahmed was contained in a post that he shared on his official X handle on October 27, 2025.
In the post that the former presidential aide shared on his page, he said there are valid grounds to accuse the ruling party of poaching life out of PDP. He said as it stands, the end of the Peoples Democratic Party is almost certain.
Hakeem Baba-Ahmed said there are reasons for people to be worried about democracy in Nigeria.

“There are valid grounds for accusing APC administration of poaching the life out of PDP. Even more valid grounds to accuse PDP for being its own worst enemy. Between APC, ADC and the army of self mutilators, the end of PDP is almost certain”. View, More,
