The executive governor of Edo state, Godwin Obaseki has taken to his official X account on Tuesday to react after an X user shared photos of the isolation centre that he built in the state.
The man said the governor built and furnished the isolation centre in Irrua Specialist Teaching Hospital.
According to him;
“Isolation center in Irrua Specialist Teaching Hospital built and furnished by Governor Obaseki. He has also provided them with Mykro Grid’s 1mw solar farm to help reduce their energy cost by over 70% as they currently spend about 35 million naira on energy monthly”.

Reacting to the post, Godwin Obaseki stated that his administration is committed to improving healthcare delivery across Edo state.
According to Godwin Obaseki on his official page;
“We are committed to improving healthcare delivery across Edo State through strategic investment in process and projects that deliver quality care to the people. With this solar project that ensures energy security for ISTH, Edo people are assured of improved health outcomes”.
