The former President of the federal republic of Nigeria, Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, has reacted after he paid a condolence visit to his former Vice President, Namadi Sambo on Monday.

The former President noted that he paid a condolence visit to the chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party over the passing of his elder brother, Alhaji Suleiman Sambo, who died recently at the age of 82.

The Bayelsa-born politician stated that the Late Alhaji Suleiman Sambo was a well-respected community leader and peace builder who will be sorely missed by his family and friends.

Goodluck Ebele Jonathan stated on his verified Facebook page on Tuesday; “Last night in Abuja, I paid a condolence visit to my former Vice President and brother, His Excellency Arch. Namadi Sambo, over the passing of his elder brother, Alhaji Suleiman Sambo, who died recently at the age of 82.”

The former President of the federal republic of Nigeria added; “Late Alhaji Suleiman Sambo was a well-respected community leader and peace builder who will be sorely missed by his family, friends and all who knew him. May God grant his soul eternal rest. – GEJ”
