PDP chieftain Chief Dan Ulasi has made a comparison between the first year of FCT Minister Nyesom Wike’s tenure and that of Musa Bello, the former Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, who held the position for eight years.

He emphasized that under Bello’s leadership, little significant progress was made and the main priorities were land distribution and sales in the Federal Capital Territory.

Even though he claimed not to have met with Nyesom Wike one-on-one, he acknowledged the profound influence of Wike’s eight years as governor in Rivers State.

He noted that Wike’s commitment to public service is demonstrated by the fact that he has implemented these same revolutionary changes in the Federal Capital Territory.

In a conversation with AIT from 1:48:54, he stated, “I’ve not met Nyesom Wike one-on-one, but go to Port Harcourt and see what a man did in his eight years of governance.”

“And now, in just one year in FCT, don’t you see a difference? We had one Bello as Minister of FCT for eight years; was there any change here?

“They were just distributing land to people and selling the lands in the Federal Capital Territory.”

“Now, look at the difference that the FCT Minister has made. So, to that extent, I have appreciation for people who work in government, just like Nyesom Wike.”
