Prophet Joshua Iginla, the founder and senior prophet of Champions Royal Assembly, has issued a prophetic warning regarding the ongoing political crisis in Rivers State. According to the prophet, the turmoil in the state is far from over, with further unrest expected in the coming months. Speaking through a video on his YouTube channel, Iginla emphasized that more political drama is set to unfold, indicating that the situation could escalate before it stabilizes.
The prophecy follows a series of intense political tensions in Rivers State, which culminated in the federal government declaring a state of emergency. This led to the suspension of Governor Siminalayi Fubara, his deputy, and the state’s lawmakers, with a retired naval officer appointed as the sole administrator for six months. However, despite these drastic measures, Iginla believes the crisis has not yet reached its peak, hinting at more challenges to come.
Iginla’s prediction suggests that the political drama in Rivers State will continue well into the remainder of the year. He warned that the situation is likely to evolve in ways that could dramatically alter the political landscape of the state. This indicates that the resolution of the current crisis is far from imminent, and further upheaval could significantly impact the state’s future.
The prophet also advised both state and federal authorities to approach the situation with caution and wisdom. He warned that any missteps could have lasting consequences, particularly for the central government’s long-term political interests. Iginla stressed that the handling of the crisis should be done carefully, as poorly executed decisions could backfire, particularly with the 2027 political agenda in mind.

In his prophecy, Iginla further stated that Governor Fubara’s political journey is not yet over, despite the significant challenges he is currently facing. While acknowledging the difficulties that Fubara will endure, the prophet emphasized that the Governor still carries a divine mandate, symbolized by a “star on his head.”
According to him, “Fubara will suffer a lot, but it does not stop what is on his head. There is still a star on his head.
