Lere Olayinka, a former governor of Rivers State and current senior special adviser to the federal capital territory (FCT) minister, has reminded Governor Siminalayi Fubara via his official X handle that Sole Administrator Ibok-Ete Ibas nominated twenty-three local government administrators.
His remarks posted on his official X account indicate that he brought attention to the fact that governor Siminalayi Fubara was warned about Ikenga Imo Ugochinyere but chose to ignore their warnings. Ibok-Ete Ibas, the sole administrator of Rivers State, recently revealed a long-buried secret when he reminded the suspended governor Siminalayi Fubara about the famous federal lawmaker Ikenga Imo Ugochinyere.
Olayinka was the senior special adviser to the previous governor of the state. The legislator from Imo State was notoriously rude and loud, and he had a strong dislike for Lere Olayinka’s boss, Nyesom Wike.
Despite being told that Ikenga Imo Ugochinyere was a political “Hushpuppi,” Siminalayi Fubara chose not to listen, according to allegations made by Lere Olayinka on Wednesday through his official X feed.
The name Hushpuppi was synonymous with deceit and deception. Thus, Ugochinyere was being characterized by Lere Olayinka as a political scam.
Additionally, he brought attention to the fact that his silence regarding the appointments made by Sole Administrator Ibok-Ete Ibas raised doubts.
The following were the remarks made by Lere Olayinka on his official X handle:
“Ugochinyere is a political hushpuppi, but Fubara ignored our warnings. Where is Ugochinyere today?” He inquired.
