Timi Frank, a political activist, has expressed his disappointment over Governor Siminalayi Fubara’s recent peace agreement with his former political rival, Nyesom Wike. During an interview with TVC News from 4.00, Frank said that Fubara had betrayed those who supported him in his fight against Wike and the Rivers State House of Assembly.

According to Frank, many respected leaders such as Uche Secondus, former governor Peter Odili, Asari Dokubo, Ann-kio Briggs, and others had stood by Fubara when he was under pressure. Now that he has made peace with Wike, Frank believes those supporters have been left out and may even be punished by Wike.

“The Wike I know will not allow Fubara to associate with any of them again,” Frank warned. “If Fubara tries to greet them or work with them, his problems will start all over again.”

Frank also described Fubara as having a “chicken liver,” meaning he believes the governor is too afraid to stand up to Wike or defend those who helped him. He said Fubara needs to apologize to the people of Rivers State for betraying their trust.

Frank ended by calling it a sad situation, though he admitted that the peace deal is a big win for Wike, who is now the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory.
