According to Kenneth Okonkwo, Governor Siminalayi Fubara did not remove democratically elected Local Government chairmen because their tenure expired, but he illegally appointed Caretaker Committee Chairmen, adding that he must be given ultimatum to organize Local Government elections in the state.

Kenneth Okonkwo wrote;

“Fubara did not remove democratically elected LG, because their tenure elapsed, but he illegally appointed caretaker committees. He must be given ultimatum, with all other state that have caretaker committees, to organize LG elections or be removed from office through a state of emergency declaration and tried for treasonable felony.”…..Sée Móre
