Femi Fani-Kayode, a former minister for Aviation and Aerospace Development has taken to his official X handle to react after Zamfara State lawmaker, Senator Abdul Aziz Yari disclosed that president Donald Trump cannot solve the problems of Nigeria better than Nigerians. According to the statements which were shared on his official X handle, he pointed out that the Zamfara state lawmaker’s assertions were absolutely correct.
The former governor of Zamfara State and lawmaker representing Zamfara west senatorial district, Senator Abdulaziz Abubakar Yari recently caused a stir after he compared Nigeria to the United States of America.
According to his statements which sparked massive public attention, the lawmaker pointed out that America was not more God’s own state than Nigeria because the country had survived even self inflicted havocs.
….”Don’t call Trump, it’s the business of Nigerians. Trump has no business in Nigeria. He can’t solve the problem of Nigeria, the problem of Nigeria can only be solved by Nigerians.” Senator Yari had said.
He further pointed out that president Donald Trump has no business in Nigeria as he cannot solve the problems of Nigeria better than Nigerians. The comments which generated massive reactions, caught the attention of Femi Fani-Kayode.
The ambassador designate and former minister for Aviation in a recent statement which was published on his official X handle on Wednesday December 3rd 2025, pointed out that the lawmaker was absolutely correct.
