According to a report that was published on the official X account of VANGUARD on Thursday, October 16, 2025, the Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo has reacted to the statement that was made by APC chieftain, Uzor Orji Kalu.
According to report, Uzor Orji Kalu stated that some pilots usually smoke Indian Hemp before flight.
According to Orji Kalu;
“On many occasions, I have stopped to fly because of inadequacy of pilot’s preparation. Some of the pilots are not prepared, some of them use Indian Hemp. Yes, it’s true, some of them smoke Indian Hemp”.
Reacting, Festus Keyamo’s Special Adviser on Media and Communications, Tunde Moshood, said the Senator’s comments were dangerous and capable of sowing panic among airline passengers.
He said such statements are liable to project the aviation sector in a bad light.
According to VANGUARD, he said;
