Renowned comedian turned minister, Woli Arole, has opened up about the struggles he has faced since transitioning from comedy into full-time ministry.

In an exclusive interview with TVC News, Arole revealed that the journey has been anything but easy, highlighting the differences between entertainment and ministry.

At some point during the interview, Arole said that, “well, I won’t say it is an easy path anyways because the dynamics are kind of different. Here, it’s very spiritual, one hundred percent, and it’s different from the entertainment thing, which is also spiritual, but you can’t compare it. This one you have a job you go for; they call you to anchor an event, and the other side is one hundred percent faith in God, so it’s a lot, but the reason why I moved is because I know that I had a call upon my life.

Reminiscing about his days as a comedian, he said that “even when I was in comedy, most of my humour was prophetic stuff. I see things, and they come to pass, and time came for me to really face the assignment, and here we are. Adapting to my reality was a major challenge I won’t lie about. You can’t do events, and sometimes some clients still call me for MC duties, but I can’t do that because I need to prepare for Sunday Bible Study in the capacity of the general overseer of a ministry.
