Asue Ighodalo, the PDP gubernatorial candidate in the recent Edo election, has expressed confidence in challenging the election results in court.

In a video shared by TVC from 12:30, Ighodalo said reports from the APC’s own situation room showed that PDP won the election and he is determined to take the matter to the tribunal.

Ighodalo stated that his team will present all the evidence they have at the tribunal to support their case. He encouraged media outlets, like TVC, to cover the tribunal proceedings for transparency. He also reassured his supporters to remain hopeful.

Ighodalo said this “Even the APC situation room as at 9pm was showing us as having won the election. That is why I said let us go to court. We will go to the tribunal and at the tribunal we will tender all the evidence that we have. I expect TVC reporters to come and report the proceedings. We are very confident, so all I just want to keep telling our guys is that they should have hope”
