Abayomi Arabambi, a former National Publicity Secretary of the Labour Party, has criticised Peter Obi and Senator Ireti Kingibe for attending a recent coalition meeting held by the African Democratic Congress (ADC).

In an interview with TVC 29:00, Arabambi said Ireti Kingibe would not have become a senator without the support of the Labour Party and its National Chairman, Julius Abure. He said she does not have the financial capacity to win an election. He said during the senatorial primaries, she gave only ₦35,000 to each delegate.

In Arabambi’s words: “We saw Ireti Kingibe. Ireti Kingibe was one of the people helped by Julius Abure if not Ireti Kingibe cannot run for councillor in APC. She doesn’t have the financial capacity, during her primary Ireti Kingibe gave 35,000 naira to all the delegates. It was the party that helped her but today she will also be complaining that Tinubu is not good, Abure is bad, Labour Party is not this and it is not that”
