In a recent report by Al Jazeera, senior Hamas official Izzat al-Risheq has expressed admiration for Iran’s successful military operations targeting various sites within Israel. He contended that Israel’s defense systems, notably the Iron Dome and David’s Sling missile defense mechanisms, have failed to deliver on their promised effectiveness, despite the extensive publicity surrounding their capabilities.
He was quoted saying;
“despite all the hype about the Iron Dome, and David’s Sling missile defence systems.”
In a statement shared with local Palestinian news agencies, al-Risheq emphasized that Israel would inevitably face repercussions for its perceived arrogance and aggressive conduct. He asserted that acts of arrogance would not go unchallenged and that any aggression displayed would be met with appropriate punishment, underlining the notion that consequences are an inescapable part of such behavior.
He said;
“Iran’s strong response proves that no arrogance without a response, and no aggression without punishment.”
The escalating tensions in the region have sparked widespread concerns among international observers, who fear that the ongoing conflict could lead to a larger confrontation. Al-Risheq’s remarks reflect a growing sentiment among various factions within the middle east, highlighting a united front against what they perceive as Israeli oppression and military overreach.
