A fresh layer of controversy emerged in the ongoing Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) leadership battle as Momodu reacts on his Instagram post on Thursday, December 4, 2025, as media mogul and former presidential candidate Dele Momodu publicly reacted to a new disclaimer released by the faction loyal to Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde.
The statement, signed by the faction’s National Chairman, Kabiru Tanimu Turaki (SAN), declared several prominent figures expelled, insisting they no longer hold membership or office within the PDP. The disclaimer referenced the party’s Elective National Convention of November 15–16, 2025, in Ibadan, asserting that the listed individuals were removed in accordance with the amended constitution of the party.
