Lawyer and human rights activist, Dele Farotimi has stated that he didn’t start speaking because of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
He made the statement on his official X handle on Monday. He made the comment after an X user told him to calm down and stop speaking about President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Here is what the X user wrote on his page;
“Dele Farotimi, Please slow down, I supported your party in the 2023 election but since Tinubu has managed to meander his way up there, you all should calm down and allow the man be for the sake of this country. Another election is coming”.
Reacting to the statement, Dele Farotimi said he is not a member of any political party. He said he didn’t start speaking because of Tinubu. He said he is speaking as a patriot and not as a partisan.
“I did not start speaking because of Tinubu, I am a Nigerian and he is the current occupant of the presidency. I am speaking as a patriot, not as a partisan, I recommend the same to you”, Dele Farotimi wrote on his official page…..Sēe Morē
