In a recent statement on his official X account, Dele Farotimi, a well-known political activist and former spokesman for the Obi/Datti Presidential campaign in the South-West, has reacted to an allegation made by an X user.
The user claimed that supporters of the Labour Party presidential candidate during the 2023 election, known as OBIdients, were a wing of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB).
Farotimi, known for his outspoken views, addressed this claim directly.
“Aren’t we all IPOB members? Every disadvantaged and angry Nigerian is an IPOB member in disguise,” Farotimi wrote.
His statement suggested that the frustration felt by many Nigerians transcended specific political or regional affiliations.
