In a candid interview on Arise TV from 8:23, a Lawyer and former member, APC presidential campaign council, Jesutega Onokpasa vehemently disagreed with the notion that the appointment of Daniel Bwala as President Bola Tinubu’s spokesman was a strategic move.
Instead, he labeled it as “stupìdity” and warned that Bwala, who had a history of contributing to political failures, would lead Tinubu to the same fate in the future if the appointment is not rectified.
Onokpasa stressed the importance of adhering to principles and remaining loyal to supporters, arguing that such betrayals would not be tolerated.
In his view, correcting this controversial appointment is crucial to avoid setting the stage for the president’s failure.
According to Jesutega Onokpasa, “I was on a forum recently, you’re not a politician, so you won’t be on such platforms, and somebody said this appointment is ‘strategy.’ I said, no, it’s stupìdity! Daniel Bwala helped Atiku fail in 2003, and he will help Tinubu fail in 2027. Mark my words. Unless Tinubu corrects this and reins in this appointment, he’s setting himself up for failure. We can’t tolerate this kind of betrayal. It’s not just about strategy; it’s about principles and loyalty to the people who put him in power.”
