In a recent development, former Nigerian Senator Shehu Sani has taken to his verified Twitter account to comment on the public clarification made by Mele Kyari, the CEO of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation Limited (NNPCL), in response to allegations from Alhaji Aliko Dangote, President of the Dangote Group.
Dangote had accused some NNPC workers of establishing a blending plant in Malta, allegedly obstructing the procurement of locally produced petroleum products.

He also called for the public naming and reporting of any implicated individuals to relevant government security agencies due to the serious implications for national energy security.
