In a blunt interview on News Central TV  from 2:16, the Publicity Secretary of the All Progressive Congress Caretaker Committee in Rivers State, Chibike Ikenga characterized Edwin Clark’s actions as an overreaction, attributing them to an attempt to exclude a significant political figure from the Tinubu-led government.

Ikenga described Clark as a politician driven by clan and ethnic interests, exploiting the rift between Governor Fubara and Nyesom Wike to further his agenda.

He argued that Clark and his allies are unable to undermine the FCT Minister’s importance within the PDP and Nigerian politics as a whole.

According to Chibike Ikenga, “I think the nonagenarian is overreacting premised to push a very strong politician out of the presence of the Tinubu-led government. He (Edwin Clark) is a clannish and Ethnic based politician who is leveraging on the disagreement between Governor Siminalayi Fubara and his benefactor, Nyesom Wike. It has become very impossible for Pa Edwin Clark and his cohorts to undermine the relevance of the FCT Minister in the PDP and in the policy of Nigeria.”….See_More
