Chidi Odinkalu, a renowned human rights activist and former chairman of the national human rights commission has taken to his official X handle to react after former attorney general and ADC Chieftain, Abubakar Malami demanded court orders from security operatives who came to search his residence. According to the statements which were shared on his official X handle, he pointed out that the former attorney-general was facing the consequences of his actions.
Chieftain of the African Democratic Congress, ADC and former attorney general, Abubakar Malami was recently on the spotlight after he encountered officials of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC at his residence in Abuja.
The officials of the anti-graft agency, who came to search his residence were requested to provide court orders before carrying out the search. The incident however, sparked massive public attention.
Reacting, Chidi Odinkalu, a respected human rights activist and former chairman of the national human rights commission in a recent statement which was shared on his official X handle, pointed out that the former attorney general was facing the consequences of his previous actions.
