A Senator representing Abia South, Enyinnaya Abaribe has alleged that the Senators in the House warned former President Muhammadu Buhari not to allow Non-Nigerians to come into the Country.
He stated that a Nigerian Fulani recognize a subgroup called the Bororo Fulani, who are essentially non-native and do not possess land in Nigeria. He stated that their main concern was that these non-Nigerian Bororo Fulani lacked any allegiance or empathy towards the Nigerian populace and would act solely in their self-interest.
He said in an interview with Arise TV from 6:36, ”If you ask any Nigerian Fulani, he will tell you that there is something called the Bororo Fulani and that Bororo Fulani are the imported ones. They don’t own land. Therefore, what they wanted to do was to settle in Nigeria, they were given free passage by the Buhari regime. We were shouting that don’t bring people who are not Nigerians into Nigeria. They won’t have sympathy. All they want to do is to displace you and then take over your pace and roam freely within the country.’….Sée Móre
