Brigadier General Kunle Togun (Rtd.), the former chairman of Amotekun in Oyo State, has spoken about the poor security situation in the state and the southern region of Nigeria.

During an interview (Between 3-4 minutes) on State Affairs with Edmund Obilo, published on YouTube on Monday, he said that before he left his position, the security situation in the area was bad.

He also claimed that the Federal Government of Nigeria was responsible for allowing Fulani herdsmen to enter the southern part of the country in large numbers, which contributed to the insecurity in the region.

He said, “Now Buhari, I know he has a very close relationship with the Bishop of Canterbury. When he went to UK during one of his treatments, he told Bishop of Canterbury that it was not Fulani herdsmen that were killing people, that there was some group trained by Gaddafi; they were the ones who infiltrated the Fulani herdsmen, they are the ones doing the killings.
