In a video posted on Symfoni TV from 18:09, Federal Capital Territory Minister Nyesom Wike has revealed a deepening rift with his former political mentor, Dr. Peter Odili.
In candid remarks that highlight the deteriorating relationship between the two politicians, Wike disclosed that his once-prominent presence in Odili’s household has been completely erased. “When I was governor, my picture was everywhere in his house,” Wike stated. “It wasn’t just in the sitting room; it was in the bedroom, the kitchen, and even the toilet. But today, where are those pictures? They’re all gone. He’s removed every trace of me from his home.”
Defending his position in the feud, Wike asserted that he was not the aggressor in the situation, saying, “They are the ones looking for my trouble, not the other way around. I’ve been quiet, but they keep pushing.”
This revelation offers a glimpse into the strained relationship between the FCT Minister and his former mentor, suggesting a significant shift in their once-close political alliance.
